I first came across wood carving in Tainan, Taiwan - Wooden little fishes, mushrooms decorations, and Anpanman... Later, I further dived into woodworking - traveled to Taichung where I learnt joinery and furniture making, and learnt how to built wooden boxes and stools.

It was during my time exploring this place, it revealed a world of exquisite woodwork to me. What astounds me is that I met this woodworker in Tainan who crafts amazing wooden automatas. This spark this inspiration of Cravelholic — to spread the philosophy of a minimal, eco-friendly lifestyle wood and its craft. (As an unexpected bonus, I used to be afraid of animals, came back from the trip I'm completely unfazed by calm cats around!)

Holding onto what you love isn’t easy.
But I still want to keep my beliefs.
