Hello London, Hello UK 🇬🇧 — A New Chapter for Cravelholic

Moving to London has been one of the biggest changes in my life — new streets, new culture, and a completely different pace. But in many ways, it also feels like the right place to continue a journey that started years ago.
My story with woodworking began in 2018 in Hong Kong. I was introduced to traditional mortise and tenon joinery — a technique where pieces of wood are joined together without screws or nails, yet remain incredibly strong and precise. That moment changed how I saw craftsmanship. It wasn’t just about making something — it was about understanding how things fit together, thoughtfully and intentionally.
In 2019, I travelled to Taiwan to take a woodworking course. It was there that I properly stepped into the craft. I learnt how to sharpen and use chisels, practised traditional joinery techniques, and built my first pieces — a small stool and a storage box. Those days in the workshop were focused and deeply satisfying. They gave me not just skills, but direction.
After returning, I founded Cravelholic — a space to continue exploring woodworking and to share that appreciation with others. Over time, it grew into more than just making objects. I began hosting workshops, working on custom-made pieces, and connecting with people who share a love for craft and making.
Then came 2024 — and with it, a move to London.
Relocating meant pressing pause for a while. Settling into a new environment takes time, especially somewhere as culturally rich and fast-moving as London. But after finding my footing, I’m excited to say that Cravelholic is back — with a clearer direction and new ideas.
